Lejla Pekaric

Lejla is a business consultant, certified coach and artist who has been fortunate enough to live in three countries and two provinces over the course of her life and career to-date. Despite spending over 25 years of her life in Canada, she is still fascinated by the beauty, authenticity and diversity of experience it has to offer. She joined our Firecircle team in January 2023 and has been a wonderful addition to our Ignite Team.

Lejla’s passion is helping Canadian privately-held businesses contribute to their communities by creating unforgettable experiences for clients, sustainable careers for employees, and inspiration for the next generation of entrepreneurs. She is incredibly inspired by entrepreneurs and loves being a part of their journey to grow their vision while ensuring they are sustainable in the long-run.

Lejla has spent her career working with businesses across various industries, including professional services, manufacturing, food service, and technology.

Despite Lejla’s background as a CPA-CA, project and change management professional, her lifelong passion has always been art. She is passionate about creativity and innovation and will always bring both left and right brain thinking when supporting her clients’ dreams, goals and challenges.

Over the past year, Lejla decided to fully focus on her business consultancy, Kolibri Consulting, which helps small and medium businesses with a variety of strategic and operational matters by providing hands-on, custom solutions (no fancy 2x2 models or jargon here!), as well as devoting time to her and her husband’s family business. She also has a growing leadership coaching practice and now regularly makes time to play and create in her art studio.
